I viewed via WFLA. Notes: It won’t be a surprise for the family. (Justin Schecker). Schecker states the family has been briefed. Notes that Cassie [Brian Laundrie's (BL) sister; BL is a "person of interest"] came out because “she was sick of the protestors.” Biunno and Schecker are summarizing that there have been a number of surprises in the story. This will not be news to the Petito family.
Brent Blue: Strangulation – homicide. That is the only thing that is released. The verdict is, the manner of death was strangulation, manner homicide. Only the cause and manner are released. Nothing else is released by state statute. Estimated time of death: Three to four weeks from when body was found.
John Walsh asked a question. “Everyone believes Brian L killed her,” Walsh says. Will there be a warrant? Coroner said the cause and manner of death are all they are tasked with. The FBI would have answers to John’s questions.
Coroner states: DNA samples were taken. The body was outside for three to four weeks.
John Walsh: “You will be the most important witness at the trial. How confident are you, he was the only suspect ever, you will be the most important witness, do you have any doubts it’s BL?”
Brent Blue won’t comment.
Blue received various questions, the results of toxicology are not public information so he can’t comment when asked about that.
She was NOT pregnant.
